Late night announcement
Motley Crue will appear on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight coming up Thursday and Friday and apparently they're going to make a big announcement. What is the announcement? Well, there are some clues circulating. One includes the band signing a “short-term” residency at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas where the band will play three and four night concerts a week. Not sure if that's what the announcement is … or if the band plans to announce another Crue Fest. Guess we'll have to wait for them to appear on CNN Thursday. Piers Morgan replaced Larry King Live.
He just came out with a coffee table book with a ton of photos, already has the memoirs The Heroin Diaries and now he's planning two new books. Nikki Sixx must have discovered how easy and profitable it is to write and sell books—and to associate albums with the books. In a post on Facebook, Sixx says that the two planned books are nothing like his previous works. He also claims to not use a ghost writer. Expect the first due out mid 2012 with the second released sometime in 2013. There has been no revelation that Sixx will release albums with the two forthcoming books.
