Friday Congressman Rodney Davis was in Springfield talking trade.That was a day after President Trump held a rally touting his reason for tough negotiations. Here’s you’ll also see Roland Machinery President Matt Roland talk about the impact tariffs have on his business.

Meanwhile the Illinois Farm Bureau is investigating association health plans Trump is touting.

In state politics Gov. Bruce Rauner visited Champaign Urbana before Indepenendence Day. The week before he made some comments that rubbed people the wrong way.
